Commented Embury: "We are really excited to be doing our first-ever U.S. tour as VENOMOUS CONCEPT.
"It's been hectic, with NAPALM being so busy playing shows everywhere, but we are finally going to play 11 shows in the U.S. and four in Japan to support our 'Poisoned Apple' record which came out last year. The shows in Japan are also with NAPALM DEATH and DYING FETUS, so it's double duties for me every night down there but that's going to be a lot of fun.
"The live shows are going to be a smash of West Coast/Japanese and Euro-style hardcore from our favorite period — the late and great Eighties so it's going to get messy! We'll be playing a few new tunes from our forthcoming split with WOLFBRIGADE too.
"Once this tour in the U.S. is done, NAPALM DEATH will be heading to Europe with WAKING THE CADAVER, MACABRE and IMMOLATION for five weeks. It's a short but sweet break for X-mas and then we start rehearsing material for our new album. Believe me, it is going to be crazier than the last."
VENOMOUS CONCEPT's second effort, "Poisoned Apple", came out in April 2008. it was the follow-up to 2004's "Retroactive Abortion", which was released on Mike Patton's Ipecac Recordings.
